Signal Culture Residency

We’re settling in for a weeklong residency at one of our favorite places in the world — Signal Culture in Owego, NY. Check out some pics of Jax, the wobbulator built by Jason Bernagozzi, and media sage Hank Rudolph.‪#‎rejuvenique‬

Signal Culture offers residents in a live/work space in the beautiful village of Owego in central New York State. We have created an environment where innovative artists, toolmakers, curators, critics, researchers and historians who are contributing to the field of media art will have time and space to make new work and to interact with one another. We believe in the importance of fostering a community of people working with experimental media art and host multiple residents concurrently to set a stage for conversation, networking, and possible collaboration.

Our facilities include an artist studio with rare and unique analog and digital devices for creating new works, a toolmaker studio to create new interfaces and processing units, and a print and media library for people wanting to document and research the history and practice of experimental media art. Additionally, private bedrooms, shared common areas and other amenities are provided.
