Condensed Silk

CONDENSED SILK is a meditative short film featuring music by Tenses, the Montreal experimental music project of Ylang Ylang.

Built around repetition, sound wash, and slowly shifting images, the film becomes a meditation on place, disintegration, memory, and the strange way life seems to stretch and contract over time.

Seasons change, images recur, and fragments dissolve into one another. Rather than moving toward a conventional narrative, the film lingers inside cycles of sound and atmosphere, allowing repetition itself to become a way of measuring time.
