Day One

DAY ONE follows an AI genius who appears to be building a massive artificial intelligence system outside the boundaries of laws created after a historic AI crisis.

The film is inspired in part by TempleOS, a biblical-themed, lightweight, 64-bit operating system created entirely by American programmer Terry A. Davis.

Set at the threshold of an AI future already beginning to materialize, DAY ONE considers the risks of bad actors, unintended consequences, and the possibility that autonomous intelligence could develop priorities humans no longer fully understand or control.
