First Dream

This collection of dance, music, poetry, and VR film is a meditation on the layering of realities. Footage from Mexico and Guatemala. Dance from Diana Gomez Cordoba and Natalhi Vasquez, Music by Flatsitter and TJ Borden (cello), starring Jessica Wegrzyn as Sor Juana, and featuring MJ Myers as the dream scrawler. Based on the poem “Primero Sueno” by 17th century poet Sor Juana.
